Pirojsha Godrej is the Executive Chairperson of Godrej Properties, Godrej Housing Finance, and Godrej Fund Management and a Non-Executive Director at Godrej Consumer Products and Godrej Agrovet. Pirojsha graduated from the Wharton School of Business in 2002, completed his Masters in International Affairs from Columbia University in 2004, and an MBA from Columbia Business School in 2008. Pirojsha joined GPL in 2004, became an Executive Director in 2008, and was appointed CEO of Godrej Properties in 2012. He has led the company through a phase of rapid growth. In Financial Year 2016, Godrej Properties for the first time became India's #1 publicly listed real estate developer by residential sales, a position it has retained for the past 5 years.
Under Pirojsha’s leadership, Godrej Properties has been at the forefront of the sustainable development movement; in 2013, GPL received an award from former President of India, APJ Abdul Kalam for being one of the companies in India from across sectors to have driven the green building movement. Godrej Properties in 2016 was ranked #2 in Asia and #5 in the World in terms of its sustainability performance in the Global Real Estate Sustainability Benchmark Report. The Indian Green Building Council (IGBC) has awarded Pirojsha the IGBC Green Champion Award 2016 for his contribution to the sustainability of India's built environment.
In 2017, Pirojsha was appointed the Executive Chairman of Godrej Properties. He also assumed the role of Executive Chairman of Godrej Fund Management. In 2019, Pirojsha founded and became the Executive Chairman of Godrej Housing Finance. He has traveled to over 90 countries and every continent and his interests include chess, scuba diving, and rare-book collecting. He is married and is the proud father of two young daughters.
Mr. Gaurav Pandey has over 17 years of experience in the real estate sector. He is passionate about the sector and believes it will be a key growth driver for the Indian economy.
As the CEO of the North Zone, Mr. Gaurav transformed the P&L of the business and built a high- performing team. The North Zone is now the fastest growing and most profitable zone at GPL, backed by strong business development, strategy, sales and execution excellence. In the five years of his leadership, the zone grew by 6X in Booking Value, 4X in Collections, and imputed ROCE increased very significantly to 27%. In fiscal year 2022, PAT for the North Zone was the largest contributor to GPL’s P&L.
Prior to joining Godrej, Mr. Gaurav was the CEO of Burman GSC, the joint real estate platform of the Burman family and Golden State Capital. He has also been Senior Vice President and Head Research & Consulting for India’s largest real estate research firm, PropEquity, and advised private equity funds, mutual funds, foreign institutional investors, developers, NBFCs and banks on real estate investments in India. He co-anchored The Property Show on NDTV. Prior to this, Gaurav was part of the Management Committee of Ascendas India.
He is an Economics Honours graduate from the University of Delhi and has done a post graduate course from the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Kozhikode. He is part of the Management Committee of GPL and serves on the Real Estate Committee of FICCI. Gaurav was recognized as the ‘Realty Personality of the Year’ by the Economic Times at the 2022 Real Estate Conclave & Awards (North).

Ms. Sutapa Banerjee has spent 24 years in the financial services industry across 2 large multinational banks (ANZ Grindlays and ABN AMRO), and a boutique Indian Investment bank (Ambit) where she built and headed several businesses. A well recognized thought leader in the Wealth Management space having headed and successfully built from scratch the Private Wealth businesses in both ABN AMRO Bank and Ambit Capital, Ms. Sutapa was voted one of the ‘Top 20 Global Rising Stars of Wealth Management’ by the Institutional Investor Group in 2007 - the only Indian and one of only two winners from Asia. As CEO she led Ambit Private Wealth to ‘Best Private Bank in India in the 2013 AsiaMoney polls. In 2012 she was shortlisted in the ’50 Most Powerful Women’ by Fortune India.
Currently, she serves as an Independent Director on the boards of several companies in the JSW Group, Konecranes India, Women’s World Banking Group, Axis Capital, Mannapuram Finance, Oxfam, and Niyogin Fintech. She is a Visiting Faculty with IIM Ahmedabad co-creating and co-teaching an elective on cognitive biases in decision making and its impact on corporate practices with a focus on gender- a first for any business school anywhere. Ms. Sutapa is also an adjunct faculty with IICA – the Government think tank under the Ministry of Corporate Affairs. In addition, she works as a Decision Coach for senior leadership talent and consults in the Wealth and Investments area for the Gerson Lehrman Group.
Ms. Sutapa is an Advanced Leadership Fellow (2015) at Harvard University. Her area of study in which she teaches, consults, trains, writes and speaks both internationally and in India is on Cognitive Errors and Biases in Decision-making and the use of data analytics and design interventions to mitigate its impact. Ms. Sutapa is a gold medalist in Economics from the XLRI school of Management in India, and an Economics honours graduate from Presidency College Kolkata. A member of the CII National Committee on Integrity and Transparency in Governance, CII National Committee on Women’s Empowerment and the Indian Women Network, she also serves on the Advisory Panel of the ‘India Responsible Business Forum’.
Dr. Indu Bhushan served as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of National Health Authority (NHA) and Ayushman Bharat – Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (AB - PMJAY), a flagship health assurance scheme of the Government of India covering more than 500 million citizens from April 2018 to January 2021.
As CEO, he led the design, development and the rollout of the scheme and oversaw its implementation in the country.
Dr. Bhushan is an ex-Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer (1983 batch, Rajasthan cadre). He holds a Ph.D. in Health Economics and a Master of Health Sciences from the Johns Hopkins University, USA. He is an alumnus of the prestigious Indian Institute of Technology Banaras Hindu University (IIT BHU) and IIT Delhi, where he completed his B. Tech and Post Graduate Diploma, respectively. He is also a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA).
Dr. Bhushan has a career spanning almost 40 years across a multitude of sectors. He served for nine years in the IAS prior to leaving government service. Thereafter, he worked as Senior Economist with the World Bank Group prior to moving to the Asian Development Bank (ADB) in 1997.
Until his appointment as CEO, AB - PMJAY, he served as Director General, East Asia Department of ADB. He has held multiple positions within ADB including Director General, Strategy and Policy Department and has led ADB’s engagement with several Asian economies including the People’s Republic of China. He administered and provided oversight to sectors like energy, environment, natural resources and agriculture, transport, public management, financial and regional cooperation and urban and social development.
Ms. Jayashree Vaidhyanathan is currently the Chief Executive Officer of BCT Digital, a global Fintech, Regtech and Cleantech company. She serves as an independent director on the Global Board of PwC and is one of the two independent directors on the PwC India Board. She also serves as the Independent Director on the board of UTI Asset Management Company and Indigrid.
Ms. Jayashree Vaidhyanathan is a three-time winner of the prestigious Stevie Award, including a Lifetime Achievement Award in addition to being recognised as Global Indian of the year 2021-2022 by AsiaOne Magazine, India’s Inspirational Leader 2022 by WCRC (World Consulting & Research Corporation), Top 50 Women Leaders in Technology 2022 by Women We Admire, Lifetime Achievement Award 2022 by World HRD Congress, Tech Leadership Award 2020 by Fintech Futures, Top 10 Most Influential Woman in Technology 2020 by Analyst Insights, India’s Most Trusted CEO 2020 by WCRC and has also been listed amongst Fortune’s Most Inspiring Women in 2021.
Ms. Vaidhyanathan holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration in Finance and Strategy from Cornell University and a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering in Computer Science from Madras University, India. She is also a CFA Charter Holder.
Mr. Sumeet Narang is the Founder of Samara Capital, an India focused investment firm with strong focus on growth buyouts. Prior to founding Samara Capital in late 2006, Sumeet briefly worked at Goldman Sachs, New York, in their Principal Investments Group. From 2001-04, he worked with Citigroup India across various functions based out of Delhi and Hyderabad. He has also worked with the Fiat Group in Italy and India. Sumeet earned a Master's in Business Administration from Harvard Business School, where he graduated as a Baker Scholar and received John Loeb Fellow award. He also holds a post graduate diploma in management (major in finance) from the Indian Institute of Management, Lucknow, where he was an Aditya Birla Scholar, and a Bachelor of Engineering degree in mechanical engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee.
Samara Capital has a strong focus in the consumer space and Sumeet has had the opportunity to evaluate and/or invest in multiple companies in the sector across different segments such as retail (including food and grocery retail), quick service restaurants, branded apparel, personal and beauty care, etc. Sumeet sits on the boards of many of these companies and has actively contributed in their growth journeys, some of which have now become market leading companies in their respective segments.

A well recognized thought leader in the Wealth Management space having headed and successfully built from scratch the Private Wealth businesses in both ABN AMRO Bank and Ambit Capital, Ms. Sutapa was voted one of the ‘Top 20 Global Rising Stars of Wealth Management’ by the Institutional Investor Group in 2007 - the only Indian and one of only two winners from Asia. As CEO she led Ambit Private Wealth to ‘Best Private Bank in India in the 2013 AsiaMoney polls. In 2012 she was shortlisted in the ’50 Most Powerful Women’ by Fortune India.
Currently, she serves as an Independent Director on the boards of several companies in the JSW Group, Konecranes India, Women’s World Banking Group, Axis Capital, Mannapuram Finance, Oxfam, and Niyogin Fintech. She is a Visiting Faculty with IIM Ahmedabad co-creating and co-teaching an elective on cognitive biases in decision making and its impact on corporate practices with a focus on gender- a first for any business school anywhere. Ms. Sutapa is an Advanced Leadership Fellow (2015) at Harvard University. Her area of study in which she teaches, consults, trains, writes and speaks both internationally and in India is on Cognitive Errors and Biases in Decision-making and the use of data analytics and design interventions to mitigate its impact. Ms. Sutapa is a gold medalist in Economics from the XLRI School of Management in India, and an Economics honours graduate from Presidency College Kolkata. A member of the CII National Committee on Integrity and Transparency in Governance, CII National Committee on Women’s Empowerment and the Indian Women Network, she also serves on the Advisory Panel of the ‘India Responsible Business Forum’.
Dr. Indu Bhushan served as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of National Health Authority (NHA) and Ayushman Bharat – Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (AB - PMJAY), a flagship health assurance scheme of the Government of India covering more than 500 million citizens from April 2018 to January 2021.
As CEO, he led the design, development and the rollout of the scheme and oversaw its implementation in the country.
Dr. Bhushan is an ex-Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer (1983 batch, Rajasthan cadre). He holds a Ph.D. in Health Economics and a Master of Health Sciences from the Johns Hopkins University, USA. He is an alumnus of the prestigious Indian Institute of Technology Banaras Hindu University (IIT BHU) and IIT Delhi, where he completed his B. Tech and Post Graduate Diploma, respectively. He is also a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA).
Dr. Bhushan has a career spanning almost 40 years across a multitude of sectors. He served for nine years in the IAS prior to leaving government service. Thereafter, he worked as Senior Economist with the World Bank Group prior to moving to the Asian Development Bank (ADB) in 1997.
Until his appointment as CEO, AB - PMJAY, he served as Director General, East Asia Department of ADB. He has held multiple positions within ADB including Director General, Strategy and Policy Department and has led ADB’s engagement with several Asian economies including the People’s Republic of China. He administered and provided oversight to sectors like energy, environment, natural resources and agriculture, transport, public management, financial and regional cooperation and urban and social development.
Ms. Jayashree Vaidhyanathan is currently the Chief Executive Officer of BCT Digital, a global Fintech, Regtech and Cleantech company. She serves as an independent director on the Global Board of PwC and is one of the two independent directors on the PwC India Board. She also serves as the Independent Director on the board of UTI Asset Management Company and Indigrid.

Mr. Sumeet Narang is the Founder of Samara Capital, an India focused investment firm with strong focus on growth buyouts. Prior to founding Samara Capital in late 2006, Sumeet briefly worked at Goldman Sachs, New York, in their Principal Investments Group. From 2001-04, he worked with Citigroup India across various functions based out of Delhi and Hyderabad. He has also worked with the Fiat Group in Italy and India. Sumeet earned a Master's in Business Administration from Harvard Business School, where he graduated as a Baker Scholar and received John Loeb Fellow award. He also holds a post graduate diploma in management (major in finance) from the Indian Institute of Management, Lucknow, where he was an Aditya Birla Scholar, and a Bachelor of Engineering degree in mechanical engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee.

Pirojsha Godrej is the Executive Chairperson of Godrej Properties, Godrej Housing Finance, and Godrej Fund Management and a Non-Executive Director at Godrej Consumer Products and Godrej Agrovet. Pirojsha graduated from the Wharton School of Business in 2002, completed his Masters in International Affairs from Columbia University in 2004, and an MBA from Columbia Business School in 2008. Pirojsha joined GPL in 2004, became an Executive Director in 2008, and was appointed CEO of Godrej Properties in 2012. He has led the company through a phase of rapid growth. In Financial Year 2016, Godrej Properties for the first time became India's #1 publicly listed real estate developer by residential sales, a position it has retained for the past 5 years.
Under Pirojsha’s leadership, Godrej Properties has been at the forefront of the sustainable development movement; in 2013, GPL received an award from former President of India, APJ Abdul Kalam for being one of the companies in India from across sectors to have driven the green building movement. Godrej Properties in 2016 was ranked #2 in Asia and #5 in the World in terms of its sustainability performance in the Global Real Estate Sustainability Benchmark Report. The Indian Green Building Council (IGBC) has awarded Pirojsha the IGBC Green Champion Award 2016 for his contribution to the sustainability of India's built environment.

Mr. Gaurav Pandey has over 17 years of experience in the real estate sector. He is passionate about the sector and believes it will be a key growth driver for the Indian economy.
As the CEO of the North Zone, Mr. Gaurav transformed the P&L of the business and built a high- performing team. The North Zone is now the fastest growing and most profitable zone at GPL, backed by strong business development, strategy, sales and execution excellence. In the five years of his leadership, the zone grew by 6X in Booking Value, 4X in Collections, and imputed ROCE increased very significantly to 27%. In fiscal year 2022, PAT for the North Zone was the largest contributor to GPL’s P&L.
Prior to joining Godrej, Mr. Gaurav was the CEO of Burman GSC, the joint real estate platform of the Burman family and Golden State Capital. He has also been Senior Vice President and Head Research & Consulting for India’s largest real estate research firm, PropEquity, and advised private equity funds, mutual funds, foreign institutional investors, developers, NBFCs and banks on real estate investments in India. He co-anchored The Property Show on NDTV. Prior to this, Gaurav was part of the Management Committee of Ascendas India.
