The City on the Rise: Pimpri

Pimpri is a neighbourhood in the northwest of Pune, India. It is renowned for having some of the most well-known industrial and automotive centres. Road: The PCMC region is accessible via the former Mumbai–Pune highway. The proposed Pune Outer Ring Road is anticipated to alleviate traffic issues between Pune and the Pimpri-Chinchwad district, while the Panvel-Chakan state highway will enhance communication between the two nodes.

Railway: The Pimpri, Chinchwad, and Akurdi railway stations provide the area with access to the railway network. The Pimpri-Chinchwad region is also traversed by the Pune-Lonavala suburban line.

Air: The PCMC region is now served by the Pune Airport, but once the new airport at Chakan is operational, air travel from here will be easier to access.

Metro: Efforts are also being made to connect the PCMC region to the metro system. The construction of metro lines from Vanaz to Ramwadi and Pimpri Chinchwad to Swargate is currently underway and could be finished soon.

Real Estate Investments 

Demand for real estate investments has been greatly aided by the prevalence of industrial zones like the Chakan MIDC, Pimpri MIDC, and various IT parks. Over 2,969 industrial units are currently functioning out of the PCMC region. The fact that there are so many educational institutions here further supports this.

Lately, the PCMC properties are bustling with real estate activity, spurred by the high demand for homes created by the region's large employment bases in the IT and automotive industries. To accommodate an increasing number of people into its fold, numerous township projects like Godrej ICC Pimpri Chinchwad have been announced. The PCMC region's demand for real estate is mostly driven by the inexpensive housing market.

The PCMC district, probably the fastest-growing node along Pune, continues to see growth potential driven by its advantageous location, land availability, and affordability.
