PROCESS TO CLAIM REFUND OF DIVIDEND AND CORRESPONDING SHARES TRANSFER TO IEPF AUTHORITY:

Steps

Precedure

1.

The Shareholder to contact the Company/Registrar and Transfer Agent of the Company, KFin Technologies Limited and obtain details of year wise dividend entitlement and shares transferred to IEPF Authority before proceeding with Step No 2

2.

The shareholder to execute the documents as mentioned in step 8 and write to Company to issue the entitlement letter.

3.

Based on the entitlement letter, the shareholder to visit the website of IEPF Authority https://www.iepf.gov.in/content/iepf/global/master/Home/Home.html and submit the web based Form IEPF –5. Shareholder to fill in online application and upload Form IEPF-5 on the website of IEPF Authority.

4.

The shareholder to take print of the e-form IEPF – 5 and submit original application with the required documents duly self-attested (including the joint holder) to the Registered office of Godrej Properties Limited (“GPL”), Mumbai addressed to the Nodal officer.

5.

The Company will verify the details of the claim and various documents submitted by the shareholder and submit the documents received from the shareholder/claimant in e-Verification Report to IEPF Authority.

6.

On the basis of Verification Report and the documents submitted by the Company, IEPF Authority, would:

  1. Approve the claim,
  2. Ask the shareholder to resubmit the required documents in case of any discrepancy,

In case, IEPF Authority requests the shareholder to resubmit any documents, shareholders to forward the required documents to the Nodal Officer.

On receipt of the revised documents from the shareholder, Nodal Officer would forward the revised Verification Report to IEPF Authority for settlement of the claim of the shareholder.

In case the claim is rejected by the IEPF Authority, the shareholder to follow the Step 1 to 6 stated above.

8.

Documents to be executed by the shareholder/claimant:

  1. Print out of duly filed claim form (IEPF-5) with claimant signature.
  2. Copy of the Acknowledgement (Challan of IEPF-5) with claimant signature
  3. Indemnity Bond (Original) with claimant signature to be executed:
    1. On a non-judicial Stamp Paper of the value as prescribed under the Stamp Act (according to state) if the amount of the claim is Rs10000/- or more.
    2. On a plain paper if the amount claimed does not exceed Rs10000/-
    3. In case of refund of shares, on a non-judicial Stamp Paper of the value as prescribed under the Stamp Act.
  4. Advance Stamped receipt (Revenue affixed) with signature of claimant and two witnesses.
  5. In case of refund of matured deposit or debenture, original certificate thereto
  6. Copy of the Aadhar card (For Indian National) self-attested
  7. Copy of the PAN card self-attested
  8. Proof of Entitlement (certificate of share/Interest warrant application No., Company letter etc.)
  9. Cancelled Cheque leaf
  10. Copy of the Passport, OCI and PIO card in case of foreigners and NRI
  11. Other Optional document, if any
  12. Client Master List

9.

Submit all the above and self-attested copy of e-form along with the other documents as mentioned in the Form IEPF-5 and ENTITLEMENT LETTER to Nodal Officer (IEPF) of the company at its registered office in an envelope marked Claim for refund from IEPF Authority.
