The Trees is a 2.8 million sq. ft. mixed-use development planned over 35 acres. It will be built in three phases starting immediately with the first commercial building. The first building, on which construction has now commenced, is called Godrej One and will be one of India's leading commercial buildings. Of a total area of 750,000 sq.ft. in Godrej One, 250,000 sq.ft. will be used as the head quarters for GILAC, while the remaining 500,000 sq.ft. will be leased to external tenants.
Continuing with our Group's legacy of environmental leadership, this development aspires to be among the most sustainable in the world. Godrej One LEED-Platinum precertified, which is globally recognized as the highest rating of sustainable design.
The project has been designed by PeIli Clarke PeIli Architects who are well known for designing architectural icons such as Petronas Towers in Kuala Lumpur, International Finance Center 2 in Hong Kong, and Bloomberg Headquarters in New York City.
Larsen & Toubro (L&T), India's leading construction company, has been chosen to construct Godrej One.
